Hi, I’m Tam.

I’m married to my husband Ant, and together we have three beautiful kiddos.

I’ve been a registered wedding celebrant since 2019, and over the years I’ve been lucky enough to marry hundreds of wonderful couples. Every ceremony is personal and meaningful, and I love helping couples celebrate their love in a way that feels authentic to them.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family, enjoying the river, pottering in the veggie patch, reading, cooking, or just savouring a good good chai.

To say that Maddy and Andrew’s guests were invested in their day is such an understatement. The pure joy, happiness and emotion that surrounded them was something really special to witness. Jasmine and Tom travelled all the way from Cairns and got married at Brown Brothers in Milawa. With their destination wedding in Bali coming up this August, they chose to take care of the legal side of things here in Australia. It was also really important to them that Tom’s grandma could be there — something that made the day feel even more special. A simple ceremony, but one that was full of emotion. Just a reminder that you don’t need something big and grand for it to be incredibly special.

You won’t remember everything on your wedding day. Not the exact words, not every little detail… But you will remember how it felt. My full personalised ceremony package isn’t about ticking boxes or delivering a “standard” ceremony. It’s about creating something that feels so you — relaxed, warm, a little bit magic, and completely effortless to be part of. I take the time to really know you both — your story, your dynamic, what matters most — so that when you’re standing there on the day, it doesn’t feel like a performance and you can sink into the moment and enjoy it for what it is. Because when your ceremony feels right, everything else just falls into place. And years from now when the details have faded, that feeling? That’s what stays ❤️
It’s been over 5 years since I married these two… and now they have three beautiful little cherubs 🥹🤍 One of the most special parts of this job is getting to witness what comes after the wedding day. The families you grow. The lives you build together. It’s not uncommon for me to run into past couples at playgroup or the library, little ones in tow and it never gets old! Because when I’m your celebrant, you’re not just another booking in my calendar. I take the time to truly get to know you — your story, your dynamic, what makes you you. I’m not gonna lie. It’s been amazing having this past wedding season off! March and April in the wedding industry can be absolutely insane. Instead, I have enjoyed switching gears and making the most of my “maternity leave”, which let’s be real, is a little different when you have your own business! Yesterday I had my first big wedding back in 10 months and I was actually so nervous to be back with the mic in hand and in front of a big crowd 🫣But it also reminded me how much I love this job. I had someone say to me recently, “I had no idea there was so much involved with being a Celebrant”. Everyone sees the 20%. The wedding day, the glam, the show. But this is what the other 80% is: -responding to emails - client meetings -registering marriages and arranging paperwork - writing ceremonies The list goes on!! Can any other small biz owners relate?
